POLO-Osaka hosted the Trabaho, Negosyo at Kabuhayan (TNK) webinar on Franchise Investment Opportunities in the Philippines on Sunday, November 9, from 3 p.m. PST/4 p.m. JST. This is the first in the Webinar Series that the Philippine Consulate General-Osaka through its Labor Section (POLO) and Trade and Investment Section (PTIC) has scheduled for 2020.
The event was organized by the Philippine Consulate General in Osaka (thru the POLO and the PTIC) and the Philippine Franchise Association, in coordination with the Philippine Community Coordinating Council in the Kansai Region of Japan (PCCC).
The webinar, graced by some of the respected leaders in the franchising industry, took the participants to franchising in the new normal. The six (6) brand presenters which included Big Smile Bread Station, Citrus Zone, CIS Bayad Center, Bibingkinitan, Oryspa and U-Franchise Sales and Management were chosen specifically to suit the participants’ profile. The number of participants in the zoom reached 115 and they remained in the zoom up to the end of the webinar. POLO-Osaka likewise hosted two (2) zoom groups at their offices with about 25 participants bringing the total number of 140. Gauging by the feedback gathered from the chatbox, the participants were very inspired by the presentations and are left wanting for more.
The next webinar series is scheduled on November 29, 2020. Entitled “Starting Business in the Philippines and Support from the Government”, it aims to guide newbie entrepreneurs through the seemingly convoluted business highway and directs them to where assistance may be obtained. END
