USE OF OFW ASSISTANCE INFORMATION SYSTEM (OASIS)
FOR ASSISTANCE MONITORING
The Public is hereby informed that the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) has activated a tracking system called OFW Assistance Information System (OASIS) for all overseas Filipino workers intending to return to the Philippines during the COVID-19 pandemic.
OASIS is an online platform intended to facilitate an orderly and smooth repatriation, and assistance to the huge number of returning OFWs.
All OFWs planning to come home to the Philippines during the COVID-19 pandemic are requested to register in the OASIS which may be accessed via oasis.owwa.gov.ph at least five (5) days before the scheduled repatriation. Attached is the process flow on how to register in the online system.
By registering in OASIS, OWFs are providing necessary information to DOLE, POLO, OWWA and POEA that will enable them to respond to OFW concerns and provide appropriate services in view of the COVID-19 pandemic, such as repatriation, testing, quarantine, transportation as well as reintegration and/or re-employment programs.
The forms should be properly accomplished by the OFWs to make the tracking system work effectively.
All information that will be provided through the website shall be used in accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012.
